This beautiful half-buried defensive building is worth seeing at least once. Turned towards the citadel, it aimed to double the number of shots during the Franco-Prussian War, which ended in the region in 1871. It could accommodate a troop of nearly fifty men, with its dormitories, its weapons stores, its kitchen, its telegraph room, its cellar, its cistern ... Unobstructed view of Belfort then Danjoutin, continuing the path that passes in front of the work. Note that it is not open to the public except for visits organized by the friendly of the Fort des Perches (information from the tourist office).
